Leadership Opportunities

As you plan, coordinate, and implement projects of the NEJC Chamber of Commerce you are committing to excellence in Northeast Johnson County.  You are also creating, for yourself and your business, a wonderful opportunity to network and make business connections.  For additional information, please call the chamber office at (913) 262-2141. 

Annual Meeting: This committee is responsible for planning and coordinating the annual meeting for our members.  This gala event held in November is a chamber highlight. The committee meets February through November

Golf Classic: Committee is responsible for coordinating the Chamber's Annual Golf Classic.  Chamber members and guests are treated to a day of networking, golf, lunch and an awards ceremony.  The golf classic will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2010  The committee will meet January 2009 – June 2010.

Leadership Northeast: This committee will plan and implement the Leadership Northeast program, which will begin in January 2010.  The committee will meet May 2009 - January 2010.

Legislative Affairs:  This committee develops Chamber position statements, sponsors forums and other legislative projects, and seeks to heighten awareness of issues that are pertinent to the area. Meets as needed.
