Event Calendar
State of the Cities
The NEJC Chamber invites you to the largest annual luncheon for local governments, businesses and organizations in our 10 city membership area. Held on the third Thursday in January, the State of the Cities is the prime time to hear our mayors shares each city’s accomplishments and opportunities from the previous year and give insights and expectations for the year ahead.
Leadership NEJC
Leadership NEJC is a premier regional leadership program offered annually by the NEJC Chamber from January through May. The program fosters crucial skills through various workshops, hands-on experiences, community involvement, and interaction with key leaders in the community.
We’re Talkin’ Tuesday
The Chamber’s “We’re Talkin’ Tuesday” is held the first and third Tuesday of each month, at 8:00 a.m. This fun, interactive networking experience is a great place to connect with other business owners. “We’re Talkin’ Tuesday” is one of the Chamber’s most popular event.
Legislative Meet and Greets
The NEJC Chamber’s Legislative Meet and Greet is held each year in January. Local elected officials and representatives speak briefly and are then available for open discussion and conversation.
The Annual Gala
The Annual Gala is the Chamber’s premier event each year. This year, taking place on November 22nd 2025 this black-tie event celebrates the success of the Chamber and recognizes the achievement of its members with an elegant evening of dinner, dancing and a silent and live auction. Golf Classic
The NEJC Chamber’s Annual Golf Classic hosts golfers, sponsors and volunteers from over 50 companies in our community. This highly-acclaimed 18-hole golf tournament is an exciting day of friendly competition and relationship building. Visit the Golf Classic page for more information.
Wine Walk
Sip, Savor and Stroll! An evening of wine tasting, delicious bites, giveaways and elegant sounds. The first annual Wine Walk was help on May 10, 2025 at the Inn at Meadowbrook.
Trivia Night
Think you know it all? NEJC Chamber Trivia Night offers members an opportunity to provide team building and an opportunity to promote your brand to an engaged audience. Test your knowledge, meet other chamber members, and have fun!

SMSD State of the School District
A crucial component to publicly funded education is ensuring that community stakeholders are informed on the performance and effectiveness of schools and programs. This annual event features special updates from SMSD key leadership on the state of the district for the current school year.

Coffee and Conversations
Meet up for coffee and networking at a Chamber member business. These are held in the morning and are sponsored by members looking for an interesting and effective way to get new people in the their doors.
Ribbon Cuttings
Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Opening ceremonies provide opportunities for new members to showcase their business. They are perfect for welcoming members to the community.
Banters and Beer
Banter and Beers is designed for members and potential members to mingle and network in a casual space over happy hour specials and appetizers.
After Hours
After Hours are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Members can also host an After Hours in their business to get members in the door.
Chamber Luncheons
Chamber luncheons are opportunities for members to hear a presentation and have lunch. There is relationship building and stimulating conversation.
