The mission statement of the NEJC Chamber is “Helping small businesses grow.” As such we want to offer a variety of resources and connections to businesses in our community. The following organizations strive to help businesses of any size from start-ups to large companies.

Enterprise Center in Johnson County

The Enterprise Center in Johnson County is a non-profit organization that connects entrepreneurs with the resources they need to grow and scale.  We select local entrepreneurs in their early stages of development and provide them with support, financial education, mentoring, consulting and affordable work space to position them for venture development and commercialization. Johnson County Community College – Continuing Education

Johnson County Community College’s Continuing Education branch offers more than 2,600 courses and programs that enhance career development and personal enrichment. Non-credit courses and contract training increase knowledge and skills while boosting job productivity and career potential. Traditional credits are not earned toward a degree, but you may earn CEUs (continuing education units), certifications and licensure within various professional education programs.


Kansas Small Business Development Center

The KSBDC increases economic prosperity in Kansas by helping entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses through professional one-on-one consulting, training workshops and other resources. Click here to see their brochure.


Johnson County Library

The Johnson County Library offers a variety of business research resources. These include a small business reference center, a searchable directory of local businesses and residences, and access to business publications and news journals from throughout the country.
