BUSINESS AWARDS
Each year, the NEJC Chamber is proud to recognize the successes and outstanding achievements of our members in four categories: Small Business, Corporate Business, Volunteer Service, and Nonprofit Organization. Nominations for The Annual Business Awards are accepted from Chamber members and the general public, however all nominators must identify themselves. After the nominating period, up to four members in each category with the most nominations advance to a final ballot. One winner in each category is then determined by popular vote of Chamber members, patrons, and NEJC community members. Recipients are honored with these prestigious awards during a ceremony at The Annual Gala on November 23rd.
Self-nominations are accepted. Nominations are not accepted for a business or individual who won their category in the past 5 years. To be eligible for any award, the nominee must meet the following criteria:
- Member in good standing with the NEJC Chamber
- Active and Engaged with The Chamber through sponsorship, event attendance, and/or committee volunteering
- Operating or serving for a minimum of two years at the time of nomination
- Small Business is defined as under 50 Full-Time employees.
- Able to demonstrate success in industry or volunteer service that supports the Chamber’s 10 cities
